Yes. We provide assessment and rehabilitation services for newborns, infants, children, adolescents, adults and senior citizens, depending on the service required.
We recommend booking an appointment in advance so that the appropriate specialist and required diagnostic facilities can be arranged for your visit.
Please bring previous medical records, hearing test reports, prescriptions, therapy reports, hearing aid or cochlear implant details, developmental assessments and any other relevant clinical documents you may have.
You don't necessarily need to decide this yourself. Explain your concern while booking your appointment, and our team can guide you towards the appropriate department or specialist.
Common signs include difficulty understanding conversations, frequently asking people to repeat themselves, increasing television or phone volume, difficulty hearing in noisy environments, delayed response to sounds, and speech or language delays in children.
Yes. If you have concerns about your child's response to sound or speech development, an audiological evaluation can help determine whether hearing is contributing to the difficulty.
Yes. Newborn hearing screening can be performed using objective tests such as Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE). Early identification of hearing difficulties is particularly important for speech and language development.
Depending on age and clinical requirements, assessments may include Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA), Speech Audiometry, Tympanometry, OAE, BERA/ABR, ASSR, Free Field Audiometry, paediatric hearing assessment and other specialised evaluations.
Most routine audiological tests are non-invasive and painless. The audiologist will explain the procedure before beginning the assessment.
A cochlear implant is an electronic hearing device that may help individuals with severe to profound hearing loss who receive limited benefit from conventional hearing aids.
Cochlear implant candidacy cannot be determined from hearing loss alone. A comprehensive audiological assessment, hearing aid benefit evaluation, medical assessment and other evaluations may be required before a recommendation is made.
Our services include cochlear implant consultation, pre-implant assessment, surgical guidance and coordination, mapping and programming, post-implant audiology care, rehabilitation and long-term follow-up. Surgery itself is performed by the appropriate medical or surgical team.
Mapping is the process of programming and fine-tuning the cochlear implant processor according to the recipient's hearing responses and needs. Multiple mapping sessions may be required as the individual adapts to hearing through the implant.
Yes. Particularly for children, structured auditory and speech-language rehabilitation can be an important part of developing listening, speech, language and communication abilities after implantation.
An audiologist first evaluates your hearing and understands how hearing difficulty affects your everyday communication. Based on the results, the audiologist can determine whether hearing aids or another form of intervention may be appropriate.
The most appropriate hearing aid depends on several factors, including the type and degree of hearing loss, lifestyle, communication requirements, comfort, dexterity and personal preferences. This is why professional assessment and fitting are important.
Yes. Modern digital hearing aids are programmed according to the individual's hearing profile and may require further fine-tuning based on real-world listening experiences.
Yes. Hearing aid programming, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and service support are part of our hearing aid services, depending on the device and service requirement.
This may be tinnitus. People describe tinnitus differently—as ringing, buzzing, humming, hissing or other sounds perceived without an external source. A professional evaluation can help assess the tinnitus and any associated hearing concerns.
Management depends on the individual's condition and possible contributing factors. Our tinnitus services include evaluation, counselling, sound therapy, Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) and long-term management where clinically appropriate.
A hearing assessment is commonly an important part of tinnitus evaluation because tinnitus can occur alongside hearing changes.
A spinning sensation may be associated with vertigo, but dizziness can have different causes. A detailed clinical and vestibular assessment can help determine whether the balance system is involved and whether additional medical evaluation is required.
Depending on the patient's symptoms, assessment may include VNG, vHIT, Caloric Testing, Dix-Hallpike Testing, Positional Testing, VEMP, Computerised Dynamic Posturography, Balance Assessment and other Vestibular Function Tests.
Vestibular Rehabilitation is an individualised exercise-based programme that may help improve balance, stability, gaze control and functional confidence in appropriately selected patients with vestibular disorders.
If your child appears significantly behind expected communication milestones, has difficulty expressing needs, understanding language, pronouncing words, interacting with others or developing functional communication, a professional assessment may be helpful.
No. Speech and language therapy can benefit both children and adults. Adults may require rehabilitation for communication difficulties associated with neurological conditions, stroke, voice difficulties, fluency disorders or other communication concerns.
There is no standard duration. Therapy frequency and duration depend on the individual's condition, age, severity, goals, response to intervention, consistency of attendance and participation at home.
Yes. Parent involvement is an important part of our approach. Families may receive guidance and activities to reinforce communication and developmental goals outside therapy sessions.
Parents may seek an assessment if they notice concerns involving speech and language development, social interaction, eye contact, play, behaviour, sensory responses, attention or developmental milestones.
No. Speech delay can occur for many different reasons. A comprehensive assessment is important rather than assuming that a speech delay automatically indicates Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Depending on individual requirements, care may involve Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behaviour Therapy, sensory-based intervention, family counselling, parent guidance and individualised developmental programmes.
No. Every child has different strengths and support needs. Intervention should be individualised according to assessment findings and functional goals.
Rehabilitation can focus on improving functional abilities such as communication, movement, coordination, self-care, participation, learning and independence according to the child's individual needs.
The planned services include Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy support, Speech Therapy, Functional Rehabilitation, Mobility Assessment and Assistive Device Support.
Yes. Parents and caregivers are important partners in the rehabilitation process and may be guided on home activities and strategies that support the child's functional goals.
Yes, particularly if the difficulty is persistent or affects everyday communication or learning. A Speech-Language Pathologist can evaluate receptive and expressive language abilities and determine whether intervention may be beneficial.
Yes. Difficulties understanding instructions, developing vocabulary, constructing sentences, communicating ideas or processing language can influence classroom participation and learning.
Yes. Based on assessment findings, intervention may include Speech Therapy, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, Behaviour Therapy, Communication Skills Training and an Individual Education Plan (IEP), where appropriate.
Prosthetics are artificial devices designed to replace a missing body part, while orthotic devices such as braces and supports are designed to assist, align or support parts of the body.
Services include prosthetic consultation, orthotic consultation, braces, AFOs (Ankle-Foot Orthoses), artificial limbs, prosthetic devices, mobility support devices and related guidance.
Children spend significantly more time with their families than they do in therapy. Teaching parents practical strategies allows therapeutic goals to be reinforced naturally during everyday routines and interactions.
Depending on the child's needs, programmes may cover home training techniques, behaviour management, communication strategies, child development guidance, family support and caregiver education.
Yes. Where appropriate, therapists can guide parents on activities and strategies that can safely be incorporated into daily routines to complement professional therapy.
The first visit generally begins with understanding your concerns and relevant history. Depending on the reason for your visit, the clinician may recommend an assessment, diagnostic tests, counselling, therapy evaluation or referral to another appropriate specialist.
